John Cullity was appointed Chief Executive Officer on 1 April 2018.
Prior to this, John held the position of Chief Financial Officer at EBOS from 1 July 2014 to 31 March 2018. He has more than 25 years’ experience in senior management roles within publicly listed companies in Australia and the United States. He has worked on a number of corporate transactions involving acquisitions, business divestments and debt refinancing.
John holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University.
Alistair Gray was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in September 2024.
Before joining EBOS, Alistair was Deputy CFO at ASX listed Endeavour Group which includes Dan Murphy’s, BWS and ALH Hotel businesses and is Australia’s largest retailer and hospitality group. Prior to Endeavour, Alistair held senior roles at Toll Group, Mondelez International and Coles and throughout his career has accumulated a wealth of consumer, retail and supply chain experience across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Asia.
As Chief Executive Officer - Symbion, Brett is responsible for the Healthcare division of EBOS. This includes all functions across Australia and New Zealand of retail pharmacy wholesale, institutional healthcare and contract logistics. His career in the pharmacy sector began in 2002 and has included executive positions with Symbion in business development, finance, supply chain and strategy. Prior to this, Brett worked with Air New Zealand as Senior Vice President Finance – Customer Service and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Brett is a Director of the National Pharmaceutical Services Association, a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide.
Julie was appointed Animal Care CEO in November 2021.
Prior to this, she was Vice President and General Manager of the Colgate-Palmolive Division of Hill’s Pet Nutrition business for Australia, New Zealand and Greater Asia.
Julie also has extensive experience within the consumer products segment of Colgate-Palmolive across the US, the UK and Europe in general management, brand marketing, digital, and strategy and innovation roles.
Julie holds a Bachelor of International Business from Griffith University.
Andrew McLean was appointed as Chief Executive Officer – Medical Technology in August 2024.
Andrew has more than 25 years’ experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries and has successfully driven growth across several global businesses.
His wide range of experience includes strategic planning and operations, sales and marketing, developing and launching innovative product and service offerings, and mergers & acquisitions.
During his career Andrew has been based in various locations across Australia, Asia and North America. Most recently he was President and CEO of SteriPack, which has a global presence providing contract manufacturing and packaging services for medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
He has also held senior executive roles with Steris Corporation, Synergy Health, Pfizer and Becton Dickinson.
Simon has over twenty-five years of senior leadership experience within Supply Chain-centric organisations in Europe, Asia, and Australia/NZ and across various industries, including FMCG, Food, Electronics, Pharmaceuticals, and NGOs. He has been with the company since 2004 and is currently responsible for EBOS' strategic operations and keeping the Group at the forefront of sustainability, good governance, and innovation.
Simon holds a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University in the UK, an Engineering degree in Logistics from Hogeschool Venlo in the Netherlands, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Janelle joined EBOS Group as General Counsel in 2015. Prior to this she was a senior lawyer at Incitec Pivot Limited, an ASX 50 company. Janelle commenced her career with top-tier law firm Minter Ellison and has also worked with Norton Rose Fulbright in London. She has extensive experience in commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate governance matters.
Janelle holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
David was appointed Executive General Manager in April 2018. He has worked on a wide variety of projects across the Group and helps ensure our divisions work together including coordinating our representation to Suppliers.
Prior to this David led the Onelink business in Australia, a responsibility that involved transferring the Group’s considerable experience to deliver medical product distribution services for NSW Health. Preceding this project David was General Manager of EBOS Healthcare Australia for 3 years.
David previously held the position of General Manager of ProPharma, the EBOS Group’s NZ-based pharmacy wholesale operation for 15 years, during which time the market share grew to 60%. He held a range of senior executive roles before joining EBOS including seven years with Fletcher Steel.
David holds a post-graduate Diploma in Marketing from Auckland University.
Martin was appointed Executive General Manager, Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions in September 2022. In his role Martin leads the Group’s strategy, M&A and investor relations functions, working alongside other Group leaders to drive growth and shareholder value.
Prior to joining EBOS in March 2020, Martin had a 15 year career in investment banking with Macquarie Group based in Australia and Hong Kong, completing over $15 billion worth of M&A and capital markets transactions across a broad range of sectors. Martin began his career with KPMG.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Melbourne and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jacinta McCarthy was appointed Group General Manager - Human Resources on 11 November 2019.
Prior to this, she held the position of GM - People at David Jones from February 2018 and Group GM - People at Country Road from 2010.
Jacinta brings over 20 years’ experience working in complex, fast paced, multi-site, listed organisations in the UK, USA and Australia. She has significant Human Resources experience, particularly in the areas of cultural strategy, organisation design, acquisition and integration, industrial relations, and succession and talent management.
Jacinta holds a Bachelor of Arts from Swinburne University and a Masters of Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from the University of Melbourne.
Mithran Naiker was appointed Chief Information Officer in August 2023.
Prior to this, Mithran was the Chief Technology Officer at ASX Listed Transurban from 2018. In this role, he was responsible for Transurban’s Strategic Technology Roadmap and keeping Transurban’s critical platforms operating 24/7 for their 9 million customers. Mithran has also held key Technology leadership roles such as the General Manager Infrastructure & Service Delivery at Transurban from 2015 and was the IT Director at SEEK after his decade long career there.
Mithran brings over 25 years’ experience leading Technology Teams to create exceptional experiences for customers, stakeholders and employees through industry leading technology solutions and capabilities.
Mithran holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from the University of Auckland.

Elizabeth Coutts was appointed to the EBOS Group Limited Board in July 2003. She is Chair of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. She is Chair of Oceania Healthcare Limited and 2degrees Group Limited, Director of EBOS Group subsidiaries in New Zealand and Member, Marsh New Zealand Advisory Board.
Elizabeth is a former Chair of Skellerup Holdings Limited, Ports of Auckland Limited, Meritec Group, Industrial Research, Life Pharmacy Limited, former director of Air New Zealand Limited, the Health Funding Authority, Sanford Limited, the Yellow Group of Companies and Tennis Auckland Region Incorporated, former Deputy Chairman of Public Trust, former board member of Sport NZ, former member of the Pharmaceutical Management Agency (Pharmac), former Commissioner for both the Commerce and Earthquake Commissions, former external monetary policy adviser to the Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, a former president of the Institute of Directors Inc and former Chief Executive of the Caxton Group of Companies.

Dr Tracey Batten was appointed to the EBOS Group Limited Board in July 2021. She is a member of the Remuneration Committee.
Tracey is currently Chair of the Accident Compensation Corporation and a non-executive director of Medibank Private Limited and Nanosonics Limited. She was previously a non-executive director of National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research, Abano Healthcare Group Limited and various other healthcare related research institutes, charities and industry and government bodies.
During her executive career she was Group CEO of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in the United Kingdom, Group CEO of St Vincent’s Health Australia, CEO of Eastern Health and CEO of Dental Health Services Victoria.

Mark was appointed to the EBOS Group Limited Board in September 2022.
Mark is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. He is currently a non-executive director of ASX listed Abacus Storage King and AGL Energy Limited. He is a former director of Pacific Smiles Group Limited and Abacus Property Group. Mark has over 35 years’ experience as a finance executive, including as Chief Financial Officer at ASX listed Scentre Group Limited from its formation in July 2014 through to his retirement in April 2019. Prior to this, he was the Deputy Group CFO of Westfield Group for 11 years. Mark has also held a number of senior finance roles, including being CFO and executive director for insurance and financial services companies Liberty Life, South Africa and Manulife Financial, Canada.

Stuart was appointed to the EBOS Group Limited Board in July 2019. He is Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee. Stuart is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a Past President. He is a chartered accountant, partner of GS McLauchlan & Co, and a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is currently chairman of Scott Technology Ltd and ADInstruments Ltd. He is also a governor of the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame and a member of the Marsh New Zealand Advisory Board. He was formerly a director of Ngāi Tahu Tourism Ltd.

Ms Julie Tay was appointed to the EBOS Group Limited Board in May 2023.
Residing in Singapore, Julie is currently a director of Sonova, a global hearing care solutions company, headquartered in Switzerland and listed on the Swiss stock exchange. She has over 30 years’ experience in international executive and non-executive roles across consumer healthcare, medical devices and digital healthcare.
Julie was most recently Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific and member of the global Executive Management Committee for Align Technology. Prior to this time, she was regional head of Bayer Healthcare (Diabetes Care) in Asia Pacific and also previously held senior executive roles in Asia at Johnson Diversey and Johnson & Johnson.
Peter Williams was appointed to the EBOS Group Limited Board in July 2013. He was formerly a director of Green Cross Health Limited and an executive of The Zuellig Group.
