John Cullity - Chief Executive Officer
John Cullity

John Cullity was appointed Chief Executive Officer on 1 April 2018.

Prior to this, John held the position of Chief Financial Officer at EBOS from 1 July 2014 to 31 March 2018. He has more than 25 years’ experience in senior management roles within publicly listed companies in Australia and the United States. He has worked on a number of corporate transactions involving acquisitions, business divestments and debt refinancing.

John holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.



Brett Barons - Chief Executive Officer, Symbion
Brett Barons

As Chief Executive Officer - Symbion, Brett is responsible for the Healthcare division of EBOS. This includes all functions across Australia and New Zealand of retail pharmacy wholesale, institutional healthcare and contract logistics. His career in the pharmacy sector began in 2002 and has included executive positions with Symbion in business development, finance, supply chain and strategy. Prior to this, Brett worked with Air New Zealand as Senior Vice President Finance – Customer Service and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Brett is a Director of the National Pharmaceutical Services Association, a Director of Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse, a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide.



Andrea Bell - Chief Information Officer
Andrea Bell

Andrea Bell was appointed Chief Information Officer in 2015.

She has significant experience at a CIO level, having spent four years as IT Director for SCA Asia Pacific where she was responsible for China, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Fiji and New Zealand. Andrea then held the role of CIO for Asaleo Care for three years, working closely with the organisation’s various business units to ensure the operational efficiency of its technology systems. She is passionate about partnering with businesses to drive improvements and innovation.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Business, Graduate Diploma in Management Systems, and a Masters of Information Systems Management from Swinburne University of Technology.


Michael Broome - Executive General Manager, Healthcare Logistics
Michael Broome

As Executive General Manager - Healthcare Logistics, Michael is responsible for the Group’s contract logistics across Australia and New Zealand. Michael joined Zuellig Distribution (now Healthcare Logistics) in 2000, and has helped it grow into the market leading pharmaceutical distribution business it is today.

Michael has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 18 years. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Wrightson Seeds, NRM Feeds and Tegel Foods. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from Lincoln College, is a Director of Medicines NZ since 2013, is Chair of the FARR Committee and a Director of GS1 NZ Limited.



Simon Bunde - Executive General Manager, Operations and Supply Chain
Simon Bunde

Simon has over 20 years senior leadership experience within logistic-centric organisations in Europe, Asia, and Australia/NZ across a variety of industries including FMCG, Electronics, Food, Pharmaceuticals and NGO’s. He has been with the Group since 2004 and is responsible for the Supply Chain and Operations functions as well as for property and the Corporate Social Responsibility Program.

Simon holds a Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University, a UK based institution with worldwide recognition, and an Engineering Degree in Logistics from Hogeschool Venlo in the Netherlands.




Janelle Cain - General Counsel
Janelle Cain

Janelle joined EBOS Group as General Counsel in 2015. Prior to this she was a senior lawyer at Incitec Pivot Limited, an ASX 50 company. Janelle commenced her career with top-tier law firm Minter Ellison and has also worked with Norton Rose Fulbright in London. She has extensive experience in commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate governance matters.

Janelle holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Sean Duggan - Chief Executive Officer, Animal Care and Consumer Brands
Sean Duggan

Sean was appointed Chief Executive Officer of EBOS Group’s Animal Care and Consumer Brands division in April 2018. His role spans veterinary wholesaling, branded pet care, pharmaceutical manufacturing and pet care retailing as well as retail and consumer products. Sean started with the business in 2004 as CEO of Masterpet Australia. He went on to assume the role of Masterpet Group CEO, taking the business through to its sale to EBOS, before being appointed Animal Care CEO in July 2014.

Sean is a qualified veterinarian, graduating from Sydney University in 1989. Prior to joining EBOS he owned a veterinary practice and held roles at P&G Pet Care and Mars Pet Care.




Shaun Hughes - Chief Financial Officer
Shaun Hughes

Shaun Hughes was appointed Chief Financial Officer of EBOS Group on 1 June 2018.

Prior to this, Shaun held executive positions at a number of ASX and international businesses in Australia, NZ and across the Asia Pacific region. He has more than 20 years’ experience within multiple functional disciplines including sales, technology and operations.

Shaun holds a Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Arts from Auckland University (NZ); is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

David Lewis - Executive General Manager, Strategy
David Lewis

David was appointed Executive General Manager – Strategy in April 2018. He has worked on a wide variety of projects across the Group and helps ensure our divisions work together including coordinating our representation to Suppliers.

Prior to this David led the Onelink business in Australia, a responsibility that involved transferring the Group’s considerable experience to deliver medical product distribution services for NSW Health. Preceding this project David was General Manager of EBOS Healthcare Australia for 3 years.

David previously held the position of General Manager of ProPharma, the EBOS Group’s NZ-based pharmacy wholesale operation for 15 years, during which time the market share grew to 60%. He held a range of senior executive roles before joining EBOS including seven years with Fletcher Steel.

David holds a post-graduate Diploma in Marketing from Auckland University.




Stuart Spencer - Executive General Manager, Pharmacy & Institutional Healthcare
Stuart Spencer

As Executive General Manager, Pharmacy & Institutional Healthcare, Stuart is responsible for a number of business units within EBOS Group’s Pharmacy and Institutional Healthcare divisions. 

Stuart started with the business in 2005 to establish Symbion Hospital Services and went on to oversee Symbion’s pharmacy operations from 2007 through 2011. Prior to this, he spent four years working at Toll and a further 11 years at Ampol/Caltex.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
