Patrick Davies - Chief Executive Officer
Patrick Davies

Patrick has been in executive management positions in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years and held senior roles across many sectors including pharmacy, primary care, pharmaceutical and consumer products.

Patrick joined FH Faulding & Company Limited in 1991 where he worked in various corporate and divisional commercial management roles across the group. Patrick then went on to hold General Manager positions at Mayne Group Limited and Symbion Health Limited. He was Chief Executive Officer of Symbion Pty Ltd for almost six years before being appointed EBOS Group Chief Executive Officer in July 2014.

Patrick is a non-executive director of Green Cross Health Limited and a director of Australia’s National Pharmaceutical Services Association. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide and a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management.


Brett Barons - Executive General Manager, Pharmacy
Brett Barons

As Executive General Manager of Pharmacy, Brett is responsible for all functions of retail pharmacy wholesale operations. His career in the pharmacy sector began in 2002 and has included executive positions with Symbion in business development, finance, supply chain and strategy. Prior to this, Brett worked with Air New Zealand as Senior Vice President Finance – Customer Service and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Brett is a Director of the National Pharmaceutical Services Association, a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide.

 

 


Andrea Bell - Chief Information Officer
Andrea Bell

Andrea Bell was appointed Chief Information Officer in 2015.

She has significant experience at a CIO level, having spent four years as IT Director for SCA Asia Pacific where she was responsible for China, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Fiji and New Zealand. Andrea then held the role of CIO for Asaleo Care for three years, working closely with the organisation’s various business units to ensure the operational efficiency of its technology systems. She is passionate about partnering with businesses to drive improvements and innovation.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Business, Graduate Diploma in Management Systems, and a Masters of Information Systems Management from Swinburne University of Technology.

 


Michael Broome - Group General Manager - Healthcare Logistics
Michael Broome

As General Manager of Contract Logistics, Michael is responsible for the Healthcare Logistics (HCL) business in New Zealand and Symbion Contract Logistics in Australia. Michael joined Zuellig Distribution (now HCL) in 2000, and has helped it grow into the market leading pharmaceutical distribution business it is today.

Michael has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 15 years. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Wrightson Seeds, NRM Feeds and Tegel Foods. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from Lincoln College, has been a Director of Medicines NZ since 2013, is Chair of the FARR Committee and a Director of GS1 NZ Limited.

 


Simon Bunde - General Manager, Group Operations & Strategy
Simon Bunde

As General Manager of Group Operations and Strategy, Simon is responsible for strategy development, corporate social responsibility, property and group operations for EBOS Group, roles he also fulfilled for more than 10 years with Symbion. Prior to joining Symbion, Simon held a range of senior positions in supply chain logistics in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia including 12 years at Mayne Logistics. He also spent time at Linfox, DHL Supply Chain and Unicef.

Simon holds a Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University (UK) and an Engineering Degree in Logistics from Hogeschool Venlo in the Netherlands.

 

 


Janelle Cain - General Counsel
Janelle Cain

Janelle joined EBOS Group as General Counsel in 2015. Prior to this she was a senior lawyer at Incitec Pivot Limited, an ASX 50 company. Janelle commenced her career with top-tier law firm Minter Ellison and has also worked with Norton Rose Fulbright in London. She has extensive experience in commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate governance matters.

Janelle holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.


John Cullity - Chief Financial Officer
John Cullity

John Cullity was appointed Chief Financial Officer on 1 July 2014. He has more than 20 years’ experience in senior finance roles within publicly listed companies in Australia, including Sigma Pharmaceuticals Limited and the Coca Cola Company Limited in the United States. He has worked on a number of corporate transactions involving both acquisitions and business divestments. John has had extensive experience negotiating corporate banking facilities including the establishment of the EBOS Group’s AUD $420m trade receivables securitisation facility.

John holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

 


Sean Duggan - Chief Executive Officer, Animal Care
Sean Duggan

Sean is the Chief Executive of EBOS Group’s Animal Care division. His role spans veterinary wholesaling, branded pet care, pharmaceutical manufacturing and pet care retailing. Sean started with the business in 2004 as CEO of Masterpet Australia. He went on to assume the role of Masterpet Group CEO, taking the business through to its sale to EBOS, before being appointed Animal Care CEO on 1 July 2014.

Sean is a qualified veterinarian, graduating from Sydney University in 1989. Prior to joining EBOS he owned a veterinary practice and held roles at P&G Pet Care and Mars Pet Care.

 

 


Tim Goldenberg - Group Human Resources Manager
Tim Goldenberg

Tim joined Symbion Pty Ltd in 2006 and was appointed EBOS’ Group Human Resources Manager in 2014.  Prior to this, Tim worked in the human resources field across a diverse range of businesses including Wesfarmers CSBP, RAC WA, Spotless and Virgin Airlines.

Tim has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Diploma in Business – Human Resources from Deakin University.

 

 

 

 


David Lewis - General Manager, Onelink Australia
David Lewis

David leads the team that is establishing the Onelink business in Australia, a responsibility that involves transferring the Group’s considerable experience to deliver medical product distribution services for NSW Health. Prior to this project David was General Manager of EBOS Australia for 3 years.

David previously held the position of General Manager of ProPharma, the EBOS Group’s NZ-based pharmacy wholesale operation for 15 years, during which time the market share grew to 60%. He held a range of senior executive roles before joining EBOS including seven years with Fletcher Steel. David holds a post-graduate Diploma in Marketing.

 

 


Stuart Spencer - Executive General Manager, Institutional Healthcare
Stuart Spencer

As Executive General Manager, Institutional Healthcare, Stuart is responsible for a number of business units within EBOS Group’s Institutional Healthcare division. Symbion Hospital Services is the largest of those, providing traditional pharmaceutical wholesaling and distribution services to public and private hospitals. Stuart started with the business in 2005 to establish Symbion Hospital Services and went on to oversee Symbion’s pharmacy operations from 2007 through 2011. Prior to this, he spent four years working at Toll and a further 11 years at Ampol/Caltex.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.

 

 


Andrew Vidler - Executive General Manager, Endeavour Consumer Health
Andrew Vidler

Andrew is responsible for the retail and consumer product business units within the EBOS Group. Andrew has held senior roles in the healthcare industry in Australia and the United States since 1998 when he joined FH Faulding and Company Limited as the Retail Group Merchandise Manager. Since that time, he has managed several retail and consumer products businesses in the Group. He also ran the Terry White Chemists franchise for five years. Andrew has extensive experience in consumer focused marketing and merchandise management roles.

Prior to joining EBOS, he held senior roles at McEwans (now Bunnings) in the hardware industry and with Progressive Enterprises in the grocery industry in New Zealand.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Monash University.
